Anyone who happens on these pages knows how much I enjoy this annual event — and here it is again, their 8th and my 6th. See below for links to prior years.
This year I shared the experience and table with some friends from New York as well as a few local pals — and, of course about 1000 others. Remember, it’s one main street closed to traffic … joined tables about one mile long running down the center and 16 participating restaurants vying for best table decoration.
Every year I pick the table I want to sit at based on their event menu and the moment I saw what Max’s Harvest was planning, I was sold.
It’s not a cheap dinner (came to $157 pp), but it is a spectacular night.
Here’s a peek at the ambience, food and festivities.
And, oh yes, I am already looking forward to Savor the Avenue 2017.
