Home > Blogging > My Baby, FOODalogue, is 7 Years Old … and I’ve Been a Bad Mommy!

Let’s talk, shall we?

You might have noticed in the past year or so that I’ve slacked off food blogging. True.

However, while I’ve neglected feeding this publication, I’ve continued to feed (and wine) myself. And very well I might add!

I’m really proud of FOODalogue’s journey … 655 posts, 10K comments and a very vibrant online presence. I’ve attended lots of wonderful food-related events, restaurant openings, hosted at-home dinner parties, participated in challenges and made so many good friends. But, as mentioned in my year-end holiday greeting, things have changed. In the world at large and with myself personally.

Still … I couldn’t let this occasion pass without reaching out to thank each and everyone of you who has helped make the experience so memorable.

Foodalogue has always been interesting and enticing. Posts have been missed, however, the photography has been enjoyable too. Thanks.

I know what you mean and I fell guilt of letting my blog slag, but we are busy and we are pursuing other creative outlets.

Just remember that Foodalogue has contibuted so much to so many, especially me.

    For another 7 years….Salud!

You’ve been a wonderful blogger and I’ve enjoyed reading your take on food and recipes. But life is full of exciting things to seek out. Creative people search for new avenues to discover and new adventures to explore. Your photography is wonderful and I’m looking forward to seeing where you going with it.

Happy Anniversary Joan, it has been a great 7 years. I hope you will continue to tempt us to cook and create even if it’s just once in a while.
