No, it’s not me. I’m only approaching 4 years. But my friend, Lori Lynn of Taste With the Eyes, is celebrating her fifth anniversary by inviting 5 bloggers to guest post on her blog. If you know LL’s work, you know this is an honor with a capital-and-bolded H.
When I received Lori’s email inviting me to participate in her anniversary celebration, I was eating my way through a trip to Barcelona. So, inspired by my surroundings, I decided when I came home to create a virtual cocktail party with 5 tapas, one for each year.
Tapas and food blogging are best when shared
and you get to taste each other’s food.

Wow, now I wish so bad I was your neighbor Joan!!! Happy anniversary to Lori Lynn from Barcelonaaaaaaaa
Where do I start? Thank you so much Joan, this post is fabulous! 5 Tapas for 5 Years is such a sweet way to celebrate the milestone. And I am just as excited about blogging today as the day I started.
Who really knew the friends we would make, or the inspiration and skills that we would gather from our hobby? Back then, we just put up some recipes and hoped people would read them, and perhaps even cook from them…
But you prove that blogging is so much more than that. It is about friendship, and support, and celebrating each others successes. I raise my glass to toast to you, mi amiga, to your beautiful blog, and your generosity, and your gift of sharing and inspiring all of us with your creative food and amazing journeys.
Salud!

That looks delicious and will definitely check out Lori’s blog later. You and I both probably started blogging at the same time as mine is four years too!
Joan, you wowed me and won me over with your fantastic guest post for Lori Lynn. Beautiful presentation, gorgeous photos and delectable recipes!
Thanks you, Liz, and welcome to FOODalogue.
