Note: FOODalogue suggests this recipe as a guide to food pairings and techniques to be experimented with…in your own kitchen…to your own spice and taste levels…and to your preferred portion sizes.A perfect meal has multiple levels of flavor and textures, bright colors and tastes, and healthy(ish) choices. It's all about enjoyment. Enjoy the process, the presentation and the just rewards...eating!
I've always been a culinary improvisor which means I get my kicks out of recipe development. In the FOODalogue kitchen each meal is an adventure and the journey is as exciting as the destination. My favorite kitchen tools are imagination and intuition. I rarely look at a recipe, not even my own!
On these pages, I suggest food pairings and techniques to be experimented with...in your own kitchen...to your own spice levels...and to your preferred portion sizes.

Thanks for sharing the feast! Italians know what eating is about, don’t they? I’m with Maryann, that sausage bocadillo looks delicious!

What great fun! I felt like I was there with you
I was introduced to stuffed rice balls when I saw it made from scratch on ‘Diners, Driver-Ins, and Dives’ on the Food Network last week. The place featured was an authentic ‘mom and pop’ Italian restaurant establishment. My mouth was instantly salivating, just as it is now from looking at the food pictures in this post! Thanks for sharing.
I would love to make rice balls some day they look so good to me! Thanks for the Italian tour, looks delicious!
